Megastar Chiranjeevi’s big budget period drama Syeraa Narasimha Reddy will be the first big ticket Summer release of 2019.
Summer is the most preferred window by Telugu filmmakers after Sankranthi season as it draws huge number of family audience. This year, Rangasthalam, Bharat Ane Nenu and Mahanati emerged as blockbusters after their release at the start of Summer. So, Chiranjeevi and Surender Reddy want to cash in on next year’s Summer season with no other prominent release slated for release during the same time.
SyeRaa, a historical film set in the pre independence backdrop and revolves around the life of doughty freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, stars an ensemble cast in the form of Amithab Bachchan,Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanatara,Tamannaah and Sudeep. The regular shooting commenced last year and the team already wrapped up a couple of hectic schedules.
The entire shooting formalities will be wrapped up by the end of this year. Ram Charan is pooling resources for this Magnum Opus.
