As Megastar Chiranjeevi turned 62 yesterday, Mega fans across the Telugu states celebrated his birthday with a series social activities in several places. Also, it was a much awaited day as the title and logo of Chiru’s upcoming film were unveiled in a grand style. The event took place in Hyderabad amidst much fanfare and many celebrities. SS Rajamouli launched the logo poster.
Though Chiranjeevi didn’t attend the event, he sent a video message to all the fans and also revealed about his feeling on making a film ( titled as SyeRaa) which chronicles the story of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Chiru said SyeRaa will be a film which will make all his fans very proud of after its release. He added it was an honour to play the role of a such a doughty freedom fighter who fought for country’s independence.
Chiranjeevi also promised that the film will be high on technical values with a gripping screenplay. He thanked SS Rajamouli for attending the event and also showered praises on Surender Reddy for coming up with an exciting script.
SyeRaa will go on floors towards the end of this year and the makers are in plans to hit the screens in 2019. Ram Charan is bankrolling the film on Konidela Productions Banner.
