Telangana Congress senior leader Marri Sashishar Reddy met AP CM Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday in Amaravathi and made some interesting statements about opposition leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. Marri opined that, for the development of the state, Jagan should not be made Chief Minister. It is heard that Chandrababu Naidu assured Marri that TDP will come to power in the next elections.
Marri Sashidhar Reddy came to Amaravathi on Tuesday and made a courtesy call to CM Chandrababu Naidu. In this regard, he discussed the reasons for the failure of Congress-TDP alliance in Telangana Assembly elections. He feels that the alliance failed because the public failed to understand the reason for the alliance.
Marri strongly feels against Jagan becoming the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. To douse his concern over the matter, Chandrababu assured that the public is well aware of the welfare schemes implemented by him. Naidu also opined that the public knew what kind of person Jagan is and are criticizing his promises about continuing the welfare schemes of TDP when he came to power.
Marri spoke to the media after meeting with Chandrababu and said that he discussed national politics with Chandrababu and of the failure of their alliance in Telangana elections. He also stated that all the parties are unifying against PM Narendra Modi.
