TRS supremo Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao announced a 67-members State Executive Committee on Monday. T-News Managing director and nephew of KCR J Santhosh Kumar was blessed with the post of party general secretary for his longtime association with party activities.
With KCR as President and Dr K Kesava Rao as secretary general, 20 general secretaries, 33 secretaries and 12 joint secretaries have been appointed. The criteria for selection was based on the people who have worked from the party’s emergence and who have the ability to take the party forward. In contrast to the previous practices, party state leaders have been picked after thoroughly examining their field performance.
Each of the 12 joint secretaries will be responsible for monitoring the ten constituencies. For the 40 people in the state executive, each of them will be assigned three constituencies. Sheri Subhash Reddy will continue as in his role as political secretary for KCR.
