After a series of events that prepared the ground for TDP’s fall in Telangana, the recent events are leaving in the party in chaos.Though many senior leaders, including Revanth Reddy,left the TDP party and joined T-Congress, CBN was confident that TDP can still play a major role in Telangana political sphere. Things went further downtown after Nagam too left the party.
Surprisingly, following the path of other leaders, key T-TDP leader Vanteru Prathap Reddy too is leaving the party, and joining T-Congress. The latest development can be considered as the final curtain call for TDP, and the rise of a strong opposition in the form of Congress in Telangana.
Vanteru Prathap Reddy is best remembered for contesting against TS CM KCR in the 2014 Assembly Elections from Gajwel constituency. Vanteru will be joining Congress in New Delhi, in the presence of INC President Rahul Gandhi, and TS leaders Uttam Kumar Reddy and Shabbir Ali.
