Nara Lokesh fitting reply to body shamers

5

While the TDP’s Mahandu-2020 was the talk of the town for first ever political party in the country to embrace digital socialization in these days of corona virus by holding online conclave, TDP general secretary was the star attraction at the Mahanadu event.

Lokesh, who was slightly on the healthier side earlier, looked incredibly smart with his new toned body. It is learnt that Nara Lokesh nearly shed some 20 kgs. Wearing a white shirt, Lokesh showed up at the Mahanadu event with face mask. He seemed to have chiselled his physique silencing his political detractors who made inappropriate, and negative comments on his body weight.

Often, Lokesh was a victim of body shaming by the YSRCP leaders. Not to be cowed down by body shaming, Lokesh used the complete lockdown to his advantage by shedding those extra calories. The TDP general secretary followed a strict diet regime and tight workout schedules to reduce weight. The TDP leaders and cadre were impressed by the new avatar of Lokesh and praised him for his grit and determination to stay fit and healthy.

Lokesh open letter to CM for buying farmers crops in villages

2

TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh on Saturday demanded that the YSR Congress Party Government initiate village-level procurement of crops in order to rescue farmers from losses and debts due to very low prices in open market.

He deplored that the Government has not bothered to open enough purchase centres to buy farmers’ crops to ensure remunerative prices for them to overcome losses in Coronavirus epidemic time. Only 10 per cent of the total harvested crops was bought by the Government in Andhra Pradesh so far while Telangana ensured good prices for most crops there.

In an open letter addressed to CM Jaganmohan Reddy here, Mr. Lokesh said that Telangana Government bought Rs. 5,000 Cr worth crops already while AP regime was still claiming to have spent Rs. 1,000 Cr. But, in the ground level, even these comparatively low figures were not matching with the actual purchases made from the farmers in AP. This was enough to say why AP farmers were pushed into an unforeseen crisis.

The former Minister said that AP farmers produced 55 lakh metric tonnes of foodgrains in rabi season while the Government had not even bought 5 lakh metric tonnes. Whereas, Telangana Government has bought over 22 lakh metric tonnes of foodgrains was bought in their state. AP farmers were not getting proper prices for paddy, groundnut, turmeric, tobacco, maize, jowar, redgram and chickpea. There are only a few purchase centres. Horticulture and vegetable growers suffered severe losses.

Mr. Lokesh accused the YSR Congress Party leaders of donning the roles of middlemen to loot farmers’ money by committing irregularities at the purchase centres. As a result, very low prices were pushing farmers into debts. Maize farmers are now getting just Rs. 1,350 to Rs. 1,400 per quintal as against Rs. 2,000 last year. Lemons are fetching just Rs. 10 to Rs. 12 per kg this year as against Rs. 60 to Rs. 70 last year. A basket of sapota is sold at just Rs. 500 this season while it fetched Rs. 1,500 last year. Banana farmers got Rs. 300 to Rs. 500 per bunch last year but this year, they are not even getting Rs. 100.

Stating that CM Jagan totally neglected purchase of crops at a crucial time, Mr. Lokesh said that Government’s indifference has caused distress sale among farmers. Obviously, the Government is showing keen interest in selling liquor but not buying farmers crops to save agriculture. YSRCP should at least now wake up and start buying farmers crops at village level. There are over 20 to 25 staff in village secretariat including volunteers, which is enough to procure crops at micro level.

Mr. Lokesh asked whether it was not correct that CM Jagan Reddy has betrayed farmers by promising lots of things to them prior to the elections but totally ignored the same after coming to power. The Government has turned totally blind to the problems of farmers of all crops when they are passing through a difficult Coronavirus period.

Lokesh open letter to CM on farmers losses: COVID Lockdown

0

Former Minister Nara Lokesh on Monday expressed concern that the Government had not extended any benefit under market intervention, lockdown relaxation and crop compensation to farmers who are suffering from COVID losses.
He said that over Rs. 300 Cr dues were not yet paid to the paddy farmers towards the purchases of crop belonging to the kharif season.

In an open letter addressing to CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy here, the TDP National General Secretary said that rabi crops were grown in 22.44 lakh hectares in the state but the farmers were not able to get good prices despite the relaxations extended to them from the lockdown restrictions. The crop prices came down by less than half due to lack of facilities and labour for harvesting, transportation, marketing and exports.

Mr. Lokesh said that the farmers of paddy, maize, lemon, pomegranate, chilli, redgram and other crops were badly hit. Rayalaseema farmers have grown banana, mango, papaya, coconut, musk melon, water melon, ect but they were not getting remunerative prices. The government has make lot of statements to save horticulture farmers but has not helped them in the field level so far.

Referring to rabi crops, Mr. Lokesh said that CM Jagan Reddy had promised to set up Rs. 3,000 Cr price stabilisation fund but that was confined only to paper. As farmers’ problems were multiplying, the government should set aside e-crop booking and begin purchasing crop produce through MARKFED to ensure remunerative prices.
Mr. Lokesh said that in the recent untimely rains, crops were damaged in over 15,000 hectares as per primary estimates. The government should enumerate the losses and pay compensation to the farmers concerned. The damages were reported in Krishna, Guntur, Godavari, Anantapuram, Kurnool, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts. The YSRCP government was turning indifferent though the farmers were getting debt-ridden and committing suicides. In this rabi season, paddy production stood at 55 lakh tonnes, maize at 14.5 lakh tonnes, chickpea at lakh 5.5 tonnes, turmeric at 2 lakh tonnes and so on. The government should ensure good prices to these farmers and save them from lockdown crisis.

Give Rs 10,000 to construction workers: Lokesh letter to CM

0

YSRCP Government gave just Rs. 1,000 to poor families, that too in a selective manner. Some other states gave Rs. 5,000 and door delivery of essentials to all poor regardless of their political affiliations. Such is the seriousness of Coronavirus threat. TDP demanded Rs. 5,000 initially but CM Jagan did not care much. But now, Telugu Desam Party General Secretary Nara Lokesh has appealed to the YSR Congress Party Government to use the multi-crore construction workers welfare fund to save the poor families from starvation under this prolonged COVID lockdown.

In a letter addressed to Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy here, Mr. Lokesh called for a minimum Rs. 10,000 financial assistance to each construction worker’s family. Loss of work on account of scarcity of sand in the past and lockdown restrictions at present have pushed the workers to the brink of hunger and starvation.

Mr. Lokesh said that the new sand policy has badly hit the workers who are not able to earn a single meal a day and some have committed suicides unable to earn their livelihoods. In this difficult time, the AP Government should spend the Rs. 1,900 Cr building cess for saving the construction workers from the present crisis.

Mr. Lokesh also asked for revival of Chandranna Beema insurance programme in additional to all possible relief measures to create confidence in the poor families.

Under Jagan, Anantapur doctors fought without weapons: Lokesh

0

Anantapur district became the worst hit because majority health workers got infected with Coronavirus here. Promptly reacting to this, former Minister Nara Lokesh expressed concern that an alarming number of the COVID-19 affected persons in Anantapur district were doctors, nurses and Government employees who are at war with the killer virus. He says Anantapur district outbreak was a glaring example of how the Jaganmohan Reddy government has failed to provide basic essentials like masks and personal protection equipment (PPEs) to the frontline soldiers who were waging the battle against an invisible enemy.

Lokesh deplored that the YSRCP Government was sending the doctors and health workers to this dangerous war without giving them necessary weapons. If the Government continued to neglect the frontline warriors, it would trigger a greater crisis that would throw virus infections out of control.

Mr. Lokesh further listed out how a senior resident doctor, a house surgeon and three staff nurses contracted Coronavirus infection in Anantapur. They all got infected just because they treated the primary contact of an infected returnee from a foreign country, who belongs to Hindupur. An assistant sub-inspector of police at Parigi police station also tested positive and he died due to serious health complications.

Nara Lokesh accused of lockdown violation for riding cycle

1

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh was allegedly seen riding a bicycle while teaching his son Devansh skateboard on deserted roads, violating the lockdown measures in place to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

YSR Congress Party MP V. Vijayasai Reddy on Saturday posted a video on Twitter, apparently filmed near Naidu’s residence here.

The ruling party leader tweeted that at a time when crores of people across the country are facing hardships due to corona disaster and are unable to come out of their houses, Chandrababu Naidu’s son is riding on roads and teaching skateboard to his son Devansh. “Hats off,” added the MP at the end of his tweet in Telugu.

The YSRCP leader posted the video amid the trading of allegations between the leaders of the ruling party and opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has been accusing YSRCP leaders of violating lockdown norms with impunity.

AP releasing meagre funds for COVID-19 fight: Lokesh

0

Is the AP government still taking light of the Coronavirus threat? Telugu Desam Party National General Secretary Nara Lokesh says that though the people are making huge donations to the government, enough funds are not being released to the concerned departments now. A pitiable situation arose where the respective officials are forced to write to the government for more funds every now and then.

Lokesh says the ruling YCP leaders are shamelessly taking away even the masks that were actually reserved for the doctors, health workers and other frontline workers. These workers are forced to take unsafe protective gear in the fight against COVID-19 threat. This is putting their lives at risk. No sincere efforts are there to supply enough personal protection equipment to police, municipal workers and sanitation staff, who are also actively taking part.

Lokesh says that while the increasing severity of the virus threat is shaking everyone, the government’s attitude is like the safety and security of YCP leaders are enough while the people are left to fend for themselves.

Lokesh demands Centre’s Corona monitoring in AP

0

The TDP is stepping up its criticism of Jagan Circar on COVID-19 preparedness. TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh said that the YCP government has wrongfully claimed of no corona virus threat in the state till now but now the latest health bulletins are giving conflicting reports. There are 1,006 suspected cases while 711 persons are under isolation. Three persons showed positive.

Lokesh demanded that the AP government was hiding factual information on virus situation in the past one week. This is high time that the Central government interfere to monitor the corona preventive measures for the safety of the people of the state. Lokesh accused YCP Vinukonda MLA Brahma Naidu of causing mental anguish leading to the heart failure and death of TDP ZPTC candidate at Savalyapuram. The MLA had harassed and brought undue pressure on many other TDP candidates in local body elections.

Mr. Lokesh scoffed at the YCP claims of massive support from voters, saying that the threats and intimidation revealed that YCP leaders were terrified to face opposition candidates in the elections. This was why the ruling party is resorting to misuse of power for eliminating TDP candidates at the initial stages of nominations, withdrawals and scrutiny.

YCP responsible for Capital farmers’ deaths: Lokesh

0

Former Minister Nara Lokesh has stepped up his criticism against the YCP government a day ahead of the historic Assembly special session to pass the Capital shifting resolution. Lokesh said that CM Jagan Reddy is solely responsible for the deaths of Amaravati farmers. Over 20 farmers have so far dues of heart attacks and depression because of Jagan 3 Capitals blow.

Lokesh said that it is the thick-skinned, he-buffaloe government whose oppressive policies are killing Amaravati farmers one by one. Very ironically, instead of comforting the farmers, the Jagan Reddy Circar is making humiliating casteist statements again the farmers who gave their ancestral lands for Capital construction.

Lokesh appealed to the people to make the Chalo Assembly protests a huge success tomorrow. It’s only through people’s agitation that this evil-minded, fascist government will realise its mistake. Lokesh said that they would take the anti-Capital shifting agitation to a logical conclusion.

Lokesh to get ‘big role’ in TDP soon!

0

There is a buzz in TDP circles that Nara Lokesh, the only son of TDP chief and former AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu will be given a ‘bigger role’ in TDP soon.

Lokesh is currently an MLC and the general secretary of the party. He worked as a minister holding key portfolios in Chandrababu’s government.

Speculations are rife in TDP that party chief Chandrababu will soon elevate his son as the ‘working president’ of TDP.

Lokesh’s elevation is expected in the New Year 2020.

It may be recalled that TRS chief and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has elevated his son KT Rama Rao as ‘working president’ of TRS, soon after he won Assembly elections for a second term in December 2018.

Naidu too seems to follow suit and appoint his son Lokesh as working president.

Though there is criticism on Lokesh of lacking leadership skills to lead the party, it is a foregone conclusion in Indian politics where ‘heriditary politics’ call the shots and the mantle is automatically passed on from father to son.

Naidu is set to reach 70 years of age in April 2020 and he reportedly feels that the time is right to make his son Lokesh as working president by April 2020.

It will be difficult for Naidu to dedicate more time for party activities at the age of 70 years. Naidu wants Lokesh to settle down and get hold on the party when he will be active in politics till 75 years of age.

AP Tughlaq 2.0 hits a Century: Lokesh tweet

0

No government would have ever faced such strong criticism from Opposition parties like Jagan Regime did within the first 100 days since coming to power. Obviously, Jagan not only reversed multi-crore development projects but also turned upside down sand and liquor policies that hurt poor people. Former minister Nara Lokesh has been targetting YCP on every occasion in his own way.

Now, in the most sarcastic tweet till now, Lokesh commented that what the Andhra Pradesh people have seen is a Tughlaq Rule in the past 100 days. The poor people expected a lot but now they are left in a state of shock and disbelief. Jagan made 900 promises during his Marathon Padayatra but those were reduced to 9 promises in the name of ‘Navaratnalu’. Even benefits of these 9 Jewels are not being given to the poor families.

Lokesh pointed out that Jagan didn’t come out with a single development project newly till now. But he had successfully ruined the prestigious Amaravati Capital City project and also sabotaged the Polavaram lifeline irrigation project. Now, Jagan has no clues on how to create new resources to develop AP in future.

One Chance Jagan brought Tughlaq rule, says Lokesh

0

The Telugu Desam Party leaders organised demonstrations all over Andhra protesting against scarcity of sand and problems of construction workers. TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh took part in protest in Mangalagiri. Hundreds of party activists and public were present. He made a scathing attack on the ruling YCP policies on development projects.

Lokesh said that Jaganmohan Reddy came to power by giving One Chance slogan but now he is showing a Tughlaq Rule to the people. The entire construction industry collapsed because of the anti-people policies. Lokesh demanded that the YCP government pay Rs 60,000 compensation to each construction worker towards loss of livelihood in the past three months.

The YCP Regime is an expert in demolitions but it has no talent in building or rebuilding systems and completing projects. Lokesh condemned the arrest of TDP leaders while they are protesting against sand scarcity. The TDP has made personal attack on the CM. Lokesh said that Jagan is known for his massive corruption during his father YSR Rule and now he is not even leaving sand.

Lokesh mocks at Jagan dubious achievements

0

TDP National General Secretary Lokesh Nara made fun of Jaganmohan Reddy government’s distinction in facing criticism from poor people who are his own party’s admirers since its inception. Interestingly, this dubious achievement is won within three months of YCP coming to power in the state. Lokesh attached a video in his Tweet in which a poor woman admirer of Jagan said how her family is not finding any work now, nor able to eat Rs. 5 per plate meals. Now, nobody is kind enough to loan some money because of present hopeless situation in general.

When there was the TDP government, there used to be plenty of work opportunities for labourers. Very strategically, TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu gave free access to sand which triggered lot of construction and economic activity throughout the state. It created plenty of work opportunities for poor families.

TDP said that these very families were trapped by Jagan with his promises of Cash Transfer schemes and ‘Navaratnalu’ which became a big problem for them. Average poor families have not received any benefit so far but they have lost work opportunities and they could not eat at Anna Canteens which are also closed now. Most of these poor families voted for Jagan but they are now feeling very sorry for making that costly mistake. Ordinary families are comparing regimes of Chandrababu and Jagan to say that their lives were far better in the past.

Lokesh explains why AP is not a poor state

1

TDP General Secretary and Former Minister Nara Lokesh has taken strong objection to the YCP government presenting AP as a poor state before the visiting diplomats of America, Germany, China and other countries. He gave a long list of reasons why Andhra is a lot better investment destination for multi-national companies from across the world. He recalled that Andhra stood in first position in the entire country in the ‘Ease of Doing Business’ for the last three consecutive years.

Lokesh asserted that the India Skills Report has given a report stating that Andhra got abundant numbers of finely skilled young persons. The state is also in second place in health index nationally. It achieved double-digit growth despite unfavourable economic conditions all over.

Lokesh said that as many as three cities in Andhra stood in the list of top rankings in Swaccha Bharat mission at the national level. He asserted that the Jagan Reddy government is hurting the interests of AP people badly by trying to avoid mention of achievements of the previous TDP regime. Lokesh told Jagan that industrialists would not put investments if he boasts of his electoral victories but he should talk about the potential of state to attract investors. He further said that everybody usually talks about plus points but Jagan spoke about negative points about the state at Diplomatic Outreach event.

Lokesh sensational comment on Jagan

0

Former minister Lokesh made a scathing attack on the ruling YCP. He asked whether there’s TDP or YCP government in AP now. This doubt is being created as the Jaganmohan Reddy government is blaming the TDP for all the problems. Lokesh said that CM Jagan has forgotten his election slogan of ‘Nenu Unnanu Nenu Vinnanu’.

Lokesh asked whether Jagan is not able to hear the problems of the farmers. Why is the YCP government not able to provide subsidy seed, give pensions and fulfil promises? Lokesh said that instead of finding solutions, CM Jagan is trying to avoid the pressing issues.

The TDP leaders asked why the YCP is unwilling to release Rs 380 Cr in order to solve the immediate problems of the farmers like seed shortage.

Lokesh twitter attacks on Jagan God’s script comments

0

Former minister Lokesh is making an unsparing attack on the God’s script comments of CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy. The YCP made all sorts of allegations against the Amaravati capital city. But now as if God has fixed it in advance, Jagan was forced to sit in the same Secretariat buildings that were constructed by Chandrababu Naidu. This is Lokesh sweet revenge against Jagan who earlier said that it was God’s script to give 23 seats to TDP for illegally taking 23 defected MLAs.

Lokesh has also commented on the release of water from the Pattiseema project by the YCP government now. Before elections, Jaganmohan Reddy said that Pattiseema was a useless project which was intended to fill the pockets of TDP leaders. Lokesh said that now again Jagan had no option but to ask his officers to release Pattiseema water. Thus, the CM saved himself from facing the anger of farmers.

Even your father couldn’t do it, Lokesh tells Jagan

0

Former Minister Nara Lokesh made an unsparing attack on CM Jaganmohan Reddy on the issue of alleged corruption during previous Chandrababu Naidu government. It is well known that a Sub Committee of Ministers is formed to enquire into all the projects in which the TDP government committed irregularities. Lokesh recalled that in the past, the YSR government had also ordered 26 enquiries but none one them could point out anything against Naidu.

Lokesh asked in a serious tone what Jagan can do anything when his father himself could not do anything against Naidu. He said that the ruling party made it a single-point agenda to level corruption allegations against TDP. But it is a well known fact that there are many illegal assets cases against Jaganmohan Reddy who should give explanation on this.

Lokesh advised Jagan to look at his own dubious record before pointing out fingers at others. Jagan has no moral right to talk about or lecture about honesty and credibility. He recalled that the Central government approved all the estimates sent by the previous TDP regime which showed its clean image.

Women not safe in your rule: Lokesh tweet on Jagan

The gang rape of a minor 16-year-old girl triggered allegations against the ruling YCP. Social media is full of photos and rumors that the rape accused are admirers and followers of CM Jaganmohan Reddy. The main accused Sk Baji has also got a selfie with Jagan during his Padayatra, which is everywhere now in social media. Photos of Baji wearing YCP scarfs on his shoulders also are being circulated. Baji is a physically disabled person not having both arms but he is the main accused in the case.

Former Minister Lokesh took to twitter and commented that it is now an undisputed fact that Baji is an activist of YCP. The rapists are the ruling party sympathisers. Lokesh told Jagan that the heinous gang rape incident showed that the women are not at all safe in his rule which has begun just over a month’s time in the state.

The TDP is also exposing the facebook page and posts of Baji which show how he is an ardent fan of Jagan. Meanwhile, YCP MLA and APIIC Chairperson Roja appealed to Home Minister to take exemplary action against the accused persons. She said that no anti-social element should dare touch another woman or girl during Jagan Reddy’s regime.

Lokesh tweet triggers criticism from Sucharitha

0

The ruling YCP is hitting back strongly and recalling past incidents whenever TDP is talking about the attacks on its cadres. Former Minister Lokesh’s tweet on the YCP attacks has drawn flak from none other than AP Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharitha herself. She is recalling how the YCP leaders and cadres were harassed and attacked during the previous regime. Especially, MLA Roja was not allowed to enter the Assembly for no fault of hers.

Sucharita said that there was no action though a woman officer was slapped in the face during TDP regime. But now the opposition leaders are asking for explanations. The Minister also recalled the Kodi Kathi incident and said that the then government turned the blame on Jaganmohan Reddy though he was the victim in that case.

The Home Minister has said that more YCP activists were injured in the clashes that took place in the state recently. She said that only 44 TDP activists suffered injuries as against 57 activists of YCP. The ruling party ministers and leaders are continuing their counter attacks on TDP with greater force ever since the election result.
