Bhagavanth Kesari has ended up its run worldwide with a distributor share of 60 Cr. The film is a success at the box office though very few buyers have lost the money owing to high rates for the hero. This is the third biggest grosser for the hero behind Akhanda & Veera Simha Reddy. Ceded is the best-performing area for the film and it’s decent elsewhere.

Nandamuri Balakrishna is one of the most affordable actors of Telugu cinema. Even when the young actors hiked their fee and are turning out to be a stress for the producers, Balayya took his worth. After scoring back-to-back hits, Balakrishna has now hiked his fee. The actor will be taking home Rs 25 crores as remuneration which is the highest for NBK in his career. He took Rs 18 crores for Bhagavanth Kesari and he is charging Rs 25 crores for Bobby’s film that commenced shoot recently.

Balakrishna allocated bulk dates and he wants this untitled film to be out for summer 2024. The heroine is yet to be announced and Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music. Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios and Fortune Four Cinemas are the producers.

Bhagavanth Kesari has a decent second weekend with a worldwide distributor share of 5.5 Cr. Total share of the film now stands at 54 Cr. Film has done its best business in Ceeded & is likely to breakeven in next week. Nizam is okayish though it should have done much better. Andhra is the underperforming region for the film as it will incur losses in some areas. Opening is always crucial for films with good amount of pre release business and Bhagavanth Kesari has lost a chunk as it clashed with Leo. The film should still do decent business for 2 more weeks as there are no prominent releases but numbers are likely to be on the lower side.

Thaman is currently busy with several big-budget films. He has been a target for frequent trolls on Twitter and he is also appreciated on a strong note when he delivers the best work. Films like Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Akhanda earned him huge respect for his work. Thaman worked for Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari and the film is doing good. During the successmeet of the film, Thaman responded about the trolls.

“Bhagavanth Kesari earned me a lot of respect apart from success. This happens rarely. If I open Twitter, people troll everyone. They just abuse without thinking. There are a lot of trends through hashtags. I thank Balakrishna garu and Anil Ravipudi for the film. Thanks to Anil for picking up a message-oriented film with Balakrishna garu and implementing it in the right manner. We do not need awards. The audience appreciating our attempt is the biggest award” told Thaman.

This is the second highest pre-release business for the hero behind Veera Simha Reddy. Advances for the film have started on a decent note but the clash with Leo is affecting it big time especially in cities like Hyderabad, Vizag, Vijayawada etc. Premiers for the film are starting as early as 12AM ist which can push the film to a super start if the wom comes out better.

Two Powerful Dialogues From Bhagavanth Kesari

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari finished its shoot and is ready for October 19th release as Dussehra Special. The shooting finish has drawn curtains on to a cinematic journey in 24 locations and 12 massive sets. The team released a special video with moments of the film journey right from the launch day to the finish day.

We see glimpses of the highlight sequences of the film and key artists and technicians who worked hard for the film. Last part of the video is reserved for Balakrishna himself. Director Anil Ravipudi treats us two powerful dialogues of Balakrishna.

In one intense moment, he warns a batch of baddies with the words, “Kalisi Matladutha Anna Kadaa, Anthalone Mandini Pampaalaa… Ground floor Balisindaa Bey…” And then, there is the memorable line, “Bro… I Don’t Care” which signifies Balakrishna’s character in the film and also, the film’s tagline.

Expectations are already high on the film after the release of the teaser and Ganesh Anthem. Elaborate promotions are being planned in the coming days.
