Baby is a smashing hit in the career of Anand Deverakonda. The youngster is now testing his luck with a crime comedy titled Gam Gam Ganesha. The film released on Friday and here is the review of the film:

Story:

Ganesh (Anand Deverakonda) and Shankar (Immanuel) are orphans and they are thieves by profession. Ganesh falls in love with Sruthi (Nayan Sarika) and he assumes that he would have a happy family if he gets married to her. But Sruthi aims to get married to a millionaire. Ganesh then aims to earn big money and get married to Sruthi. He agrees for a deal to steal a diamond worth Rs 7 crores from a Gold shop. He changes plans as per the situation and decides to sell off the diamond. He is on his way to Chennai and during the random cop checkings, he hides the diamond in a Ganesh idol. The Ganesh idol is ordered by Nandhyal MLA Kishore Reddy from Mumbai. The rest of Gam Gam Ganesha is all about the diamond and the twists in the journey of Ganesh.

Analysis:

Crime comedy is a crucial genre and the film has to be thoroughly engaging with some unexpected twists throughout. Both crime and entertainment have to be balanced well. Gam Gam Ganesha has a crime story and entertainment. But they are not well balanced and narrated. Ganesh’s silly characterization generates enough smiles. The love story will not make any impact. Gam Gam Ganesha has two parallel stories: stealing the diamond and Kishore Reddy’s Ganesh idol story. The interval twist generates the needed curiousity among the audience.

The second half revolves around the Ganesh Chaturdhi celebrations. Kishore Reddy is on a hunt for Ganesh idol while Ganesh and Shankar are on their way for the diamond hidden in the idol. There is some hilarious entertainment in the second half and the film receives a speed breaker through the love track of Ganesh with Neelaveni (Pragathi Srivastav). Vennela Kishore’s comedy track was decent. The climax sounds quite silly.

Performances:

Anand Deverakonda attempts a new character Ganesh and he has been decent in some of the episodes. He needs to improve a lot especially in the emotional scenes. Both the leading ladies Nayan Sarika and Pragathi Srivastava had limited roles and no prominence. Pragathi looked good on screen. Rajan as Kishore Reddy and Krishna Chaitanya as Rudra have been decent as antagonists. Immanuel and Vennela Kishore managed to make enough fun with their comic timing. All the other characters are restricted.

Chaitan Bharadwaj fails to make an impact with his songs. The background score is decent. The cinematography work is good and the editing has been decent. Some of the one-liners are good in Gam Gam Ganesha. Backed by an interesting concept, Gam Gam Ganesha has some hilarious moments but the film falls short of expectations.

Top beauty Rashmika Mandanna is out to promote Anand Deverakonda’s Gam Gam Ganesha and the grand pre-release event took place last night. Anand Deverakonda had quick questions for Rashmika and he asked about her favourite co-star. The actress smiled asking him that he is her family and why he was putting her at a spot. After smiling, the actress replied ‘Rowdy Boy’ is her favourite co-star. The crowds cheered up louder during that moment. During her speech, she also heaped praise on Baby director Sai Rajesh for his work.

“I would like to work with Sai Rajesh garu if given a chance. I loved his direction and dedication. I would love to play a mental role if given a chance in your film. It made me curious as an actress” told the top actress. Rashmika is busy with Pushpa 2: The Rule and she is also busy with a couple of women-centric films.

Gam Gam Ganesha Trailer: Anand Deverakonda action and fun avatar

After Blockbuster Baby, Anand Deverakonda is all set surprise with “Gam Gam Ganesha,” directed by debutant Uday Shetty. Building on the momentum generated by the engaging teaser, each piece of content released from the film has been warmly received by the audience.

The makers unveiled the theatrical trailer that’s filled with gunfire, action-packed sequences, and thrilling chases. The trailer opens with Anand Deverakonda and his friend played Emmanuel discussing their aspirations to become millionaires. Anand’s character, a thief, falls for Neelaveni, played by Pragati Srivastava. The initial scenes are light-hearted and filled with comedy.

As the trailer continues, a series of eccentric characters are introduced, adding to the ensuing chaos. The trailer also features Nayan Sarika, Vennela Kishore, Satyam Rajesh, Raj Arjun, and others in pivotal roles that drive the storyline forward. Overall, the trailer is filled with comedic moments, chaos and confusion with captivating visuals, all set to a terrific background score.

The film is set to release worldwide in theaters on May 31st. Kedar Selagamsetty and Vamsi Karumanchi produced the movie under the Hy-Life Entertainment banner. The film is co produced by Anurag Parvatheneni.

May 31st turns over crowded in Telugu Cinema

Summer 2024 has been extremely dry and disappointing for Telugu cinema. Except Tillu Square, none of the new releases managed to mint money. May is quite disappointing that there are no notable releases. With the election fever coming to an end, Gangs of Godavari was slated for May 17th release. But the film’s release is now pushed to May 31st which is crowded already. Sudheer Babu is testing his luck with Harom Hara and the film was announced for May 31st release long ago.

Kajal Aggarwal’s thriller Satyabhama too is gearing up for May 31st release. Goodachari fame Sashi Kiran Tikka is the producer. Karthikeya who has been struggling for success is all set to test his luck with an action drama titled Bhaje Vaayu Vegam produced by UV Creations. The film too is gearing up for May 31st release. Anand Devarakonda’s next film is Gam Gam Ganesha and the film too is in May 31st race. Ajay Ghosh and Chandini Chowdary’s interesting attempt Music Shop Murthy too is in the May 31st release race. With five films, May 31st is overcrowded. We have to wait to see how many of them will hit the screens.

Anand Deverakonda recently scored a blockbuster hit with “Baby,” directed by Sai Rajesh. The expectations for the actor’s next are high. He will be seen in “Gam Gam Ganesha,” directed by debutant Uday Shetty.

Recently makers unveiled the first look which created huge interest on the film. Today makers launched the teaser in a grand event. It looks quirky and filled with lot of action, thrilling and fun elements.

After playing the ‘Good Guy’ role in Baby, Anand Deverakonda coming up with a badass role in the film. He was introduced as not so good guy in the teaser. With the thumping score, the teaser introduces the antagonist and all the intriguing characters.

Gam Gam Ganesha looks like a perfect quirky entertainer. Pragati Srivastava, Karishma, Vennela Kishore, Jabardast Immanuel play other key roles in the film. Kedar Selagamsetty and Vamsi Karumanchi produced the movie under the Hylife Entertainment banner, and Chaitan Bharadwaj took care of the music.
