Tamannaah’s chic look and completely polished demeanor in the trailers of Oopiri is amazing to watch. Not only does it give the character a cool spin but also makes it worth looking forward to. But what if we tell you that the character Tamannaah plays, looks very much like in the film’s original French version The Intouchables? And guess what, the character was lesbian! True story, that is.

But the Telugu/Tamil trailer also make it evident that huge changes were made to the script and there’s a chance that the character was tweaked to suit our local sensibilities. But what are the chances really, of our audiences accepting a lesbian protagonist? Well, we think very low chance.
