Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry flew down to meet Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Nadu today in Rajahmundry.
The Tata Group head enquired about the various investment opportunities in Amaravati with respect to the development of the capital as a smart city.
The Group also said that it is exploring opportunities in the hospitality space such as convention centre and hotels, Defence and Aerospace and, waste management. Mr. Mistry also enquired about setting up TCS Development Centre in the state.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister welcomed the Tata Group to set up shop in the state and sought their support in education, smart village-smart ward programme, skill development and also in setting up industries.
