The politics surrounding the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder is taking curious twists and turns. The TDP raised doubts that Jagan is using the BJP to influence the Central Election Commission (CEC). TDP MLC Buddha Venkanna took strong objection to the CEC for transferring AP cops based on the complaint given by the YSR Congress Party whose President YS Jaganmohan Reddy has a criminal record.

He demanded that the CEC and the courts should cancel the bail given to Jaganmohan Reddy and his close associate Vijayasai Reddy in the multi-crore illegal assets cases that were investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation.

Mr Venkanna said that he would make petitions before the CEC and also the CBI court asking for the cancellation of the bail given to Jagan and Vijayasai as they are hell bent on sabotaging the election process in Andhra Pradesh. Jagan has a role in the recent murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy and his party leaders are trying very hard to cover up this murder to divert the attention of AP voters.

There are reports that Jaganmohan Reddy has threatened Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter Suneetha Reddy who is now changing her earlier statements and expressing doubts on the SIT investigation into the murder. If Jagan and Vijayasai are allowed to remain on bail, they will interfere with the smooth conduct of the April 11 poll. The TDP MLC asserted that the state government will make sure that the real accused in Viveka murder be caught and punished. There’s sympathy for Suneetha Reddy but her plea for considering the murder as an internal matter of their family will not be acceptable.
