AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has decided to hold ‘Dharma Poratam’ meetings in other parts of India as well to mobilise support from Telugus living in cities like Bengaluru, Chennai and Delhi. He wants party leaders to reach out to Telugus in other parts and intensify their agitation against the BJP and Modi leadership in the coming months considering the elections in five states.
Naidu has given a call to party cadres to get ready for an all-out battle by making it difficult for BJP in other states as well. There are considerable numbers of Telugus living in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu where their vote bank plays a decisive role in government formation.
The TDP is recalling the recent Karnataka elections where Chandrababu’s anti-BJP stand has worked well to make Telugus to extend their favour to Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) combination there. This has eventually resulted in BJP getting an unexpected defeat there. TDP wants to make similar political gains over BJP in other parts of the country as well.
