Hyderabad: The ruling TDP is finding a way out of the mess it found itself in, after the video footage of YSRCP MLA’s behavior in the State Assembly on December 18, appeared in public domain. According to party sources, the party strategists hoped that the video clippings would clear any doubts over the suspension of YSRCP MLA R K Roja, for a period of one year.
However, senior leader in the party found that the video clippings have triggered an unintended affect. And, the party is increasingly coming under intense questioning form various quarters. Reason for all this is that the video clippings doing rounds in the public domain, and in the electronic media, people find no difference between the language used by Roja and the Gudiwada MLA. But, the ruling party had moved a motion seeking suspension of R K Roja, for one year. But, for the reasons best known to its leadership, the TDP spared Kodali Nani.
Adding to its woes, Speaker Kodela Prasada Rao during a press conference denied that he had given permission to any part to release the video clippings to the media.
