At the national level, Today’s Chanakya stands out for its track record in predicting near accurate election results. Its survey on BJP winning majority on its own in 2014 was ridiculed but that eventually became true. Its predictions also became correct with regard to AAP coming to rule in Delhi. Now, Today’s Chanakya exit poll has given 14 to 20 MP seats to TDP in Andhra Pradesh while the YCP may win 5 to 11 seats. These figures are going totally contrary to some national media which are predicting a landslide victory for the YCP in assembly election.
The TDP leaders say that going by the Chanakya survey, their party will stand greater chances of victory in AP Assembly polls as well. Far greater number of MP seats are given for the TDP when compared to the YCP. Moreover, the Jana Sena was not given one single MP seat. TDP says that Chanakya survey gives enough hints on how the AP voters would have favoured TDP more in assembly. The voter mood against the BJP is clear and the YCP is paying a greater price for its secret deals with the YCP.
