In Kooduru village 39 acres of government land was taken from eleven people. The officials recognized the 11 expatriates and granted compensation. However, with the influence of MLA Peela, the Tahsildar Krishnamurthy reportedly created about 39 expatriates and demanded the collector to pay six crores. The Joint Collector who recognized the fraud at the last moment, halted the process. However, the TDP legislator is accused of helping Tahsildar for claiming six crores from the government.
Two minority women complained to the city police commissioner that the MLA Peela with the assistance of financier Ramana tried to seize their house in Pendurti and even displayed violent behaviour. Peela denied involvement and also asked the police to check the CCTV footage.
In Jamadhulapalem, 210acres of land was registered in the name of a minority. But as many as 267 farmers have been cultivating crops for decades on this land. Apparently based on the suggestion from MLA Peela, the previous RDO Padmavati along with the higher officials inserted 210acres of land in the name of one person in webland.
213.60 acres of land in 156 survey number in Bhimannadorapalem and also the adjacent Tavitikonda lands were secured by Peela family using benamis. They are allegedly enjoying the fruits of Cashewnuts trees from the 50acres of government lands.
27-acres of Boodhan land was registered against the members of Peela family in Sabbavaram Mandal Dongalamarri Sitaramapuram. Selling of Boodan lands are invalid. The allegations are that 80acres of land belongs to him. However, the legislator claims that only 27acres belongs to them and was bought with the hard-earned money of his father.
Complaints against the MLA were lodged with the SIT. Peela however denies records tampering and said that their family secured the lands with their hard-earned money. Police cases have been registered against the MLA in two places.
