Every MLA, irrespective of their political experience, are valued equally during the formation of a Government. Once a government is established, new MLAs are hardly given any prominence. One such incident took place in Budvel.
After the Budvel constituency was reserved for SC candidates, Jayaramulu who contested as YSRCP candidate, won in the 2014 Assembly elections on TDP candidate Vijayajyothi. It did not take long for the MLA to change parties and get under the umbrella of TDP. Interestingly, this did not do any good for the TDP MLA. In fact, Former Minister Veera Reddy’s daughter, and former MLA Vijayamma still holds a strong say in the constituency despite being a former MLA.
Now along with Vijayamma, even Vijayajyothi, and Jayaramulu are maintain their own factions. Under the circumstances, the MLA feels that he is not being given any importance both in the constituency, and the party. Though the same has been communicated to CBN, the supremo hardly took any notice. Upset over the entire episode, MLA Jayaramulu thought that he could threaten the TDP high command in the name of ‘resignation’. To his utter disappointment, even now CBN looks least bothered about the MLA, and his resignation.
