Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has almost finalsied list of Assembly and Lok Sabha candidates for Kadapa district, a home turf of YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy. According to sources, TDP supremo and AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has confirmed Satish Reddy for Pulivendula and Ramasubba Reddy for Jammalamadugu constituencies. Naidu has already decided on Adinarayana Reddy for Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency.
The chief minister Naidu has already come to a conclusion on remaining constituencies as well, added the source. Ramesh Kumar Reddy from Rayachoti, Bathala Chengal Rayudu from Rajampet, T Narasimha Prasad, son-in-law of Chittoor MP Shivaprasad, from Railway Koduru are likely to contest in Assembly elections.
If DL Ravindra Reddy joins TDP, then he may get party ticket for Mydukuru. Otherwise, TTD chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadav will contest from Mydukuru constituency. Ashraf, son of Ahmedullah, is likely to get Kadapa ticket. Putha Narasimha Reddy or Virashiva Reddy from Kamalapuram constituency, Lazarus from Badvel may contest on TDP ticket, added the source.
Meanwhile, Naidu also responded to Laxmi’s NTR movie, indirectly saying that some people with vested interests are trying to degrade legend NT Rama Rao’s image. NTR’s life has been a source of spirit for crores of Telugus and movies like Mahanayakudu and Kathanayakudu are coming up. However, people wouldn’t honour movies that sabotage the image of great personalities like NTR, said Naidu.
