TDP failed to get funds from Centre : YSRC
Opposition YSR Congress alleged that the ruling Telugu Desam party was mortgaging the interests of the state for selfish goals and this was responsible for the present sorry state of affairs in the state. The failure of TDP government to work for getting special status accorded to AP will have disastrous consequences in future, said party spokesperson Tamminenti Seetaram. Referring to today’s cabinet decision to write a letter to PM and FM for more funds, Seetaram said the TDP government failed to get funds to state and made writing letters to centre a habit only to hoodwink people. The CM had no courage to put pressure on centre for funds because of the unethical politics he was pursuing in Andhra and Telangana.
