YSRCP leader Vijay Sai Reddy’s ‘few TDP MLAs are already in touch with us’, comments took the TDP party by surprise. Though many rubbished these claims as just mere ‘strategies’, few consider them to be serious, given the increase of anti-TDP feeling in few regions in Andhra Pradesh.
Adding more spice to this, TDP MLA from Rayadurg Kalva Srinivasulu (Minister for Rural Housing, Information & PR) said that, YSRCP MLAs too are in contact with TDP.
‘It looks like Vijay Sai Reddy is not aware of YSRCP MLAs coming in contact with TDP. Already many YSRCP MLAs have left the YSRCP party, given YS Jagan’s leadership in the party. It will do a lot good to Vijay Sai Reddy if he can come to an understanding of how many sitting YSRCP MLAs are willing to content as YSRCP candidates in the upcoming elections’, said Kalva Srinivasulu.
According to political analysts the latest statements from the leaders of both the parties clearly that, ‘horse-trading’ or ‘operation Akarsh’ is already underway for the upcoming polls in 2019.
With Pawan Kalyan joining the race, and BJP trying to gain a foothold, a coalition government is expected.
