The ‘All Party Meet’ organized by Chandrababu Naidu has not met its objective it appears. The AP CM thought that he could get key leaders from all the parties on to a single platform, and lead the AP SCS movement. The main agenda of the meeting was to bring all parties on the same platform. But things did not go as he planned.
YSRCP and Janasena boycotted the meet completely. With Congress, CPI and CPM, and other NGOs attending, the meeting has lost its lustre.
After the meeting has concluded, CPI Madhu spoke to the media. ‘We questioned CBN on why he has been dodging about SCS in the last four years, while we were fighting. He said he wanted to get the state to get maximum benefits, and that is the reason he maintained diplomatic relations with the Centre. There hasn’t been any ‘All Party Meeting’ in the last four years’.
Even CPI leader Ramakrishna reacted in a similar manner. ‘AP CM spoke for about an hour. We did not come to any conclusion in this meeting. If CBN has made any announcements after we left, then we are not a part of it. Currently, along with CPI and Janasena, we are organizing Student JAC meetings as a part of our SCS’, he concluded.
It is the Congress party that has ‘extended’ its support. More or less, the ‘All Party Meeting’ by Chandrababu Naidu met a disappointing end, with no effect. In fact, many believe that ‘All Party Meet’ was organized by CBN to gain sympathy in the public.
