Allu Arjun’s forthcoming entertainer Duvvada Jagannadham aka DJ is aiming for a mid summer release. The shooting formalities are progressing at a jet speed and unit has wrapped up a hectic schedule in Dubai yesterday. Svelte beauty Pooja Hegde is playing the role of an NRI based out in Dubai. Considerable portion of Pooja’s role and a flashy song were shot in this 10 day schedule.
The unit will be back in Hyderabad shortly and the post production activities are likely to commence later month. The talkie part is nearing completion and the left over songs will be canned in Hyderabad. Directed by Harish Shankar, DJ will see Allu Arjun essaying two conflicting roles, one will be a traditional Brahmin avatar. The recently released teaser has garnered a superb response from audience.
Dil Raju is bankrolling the film and Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the tunes. The film is tentatively scheduled for May 19th release.
