Andhra Pradesh government today removed G Sayanna, TDP MLA from Telangana, from the office of the member of the TTD Trust Board.
Sayanna, who represented the cantonment Assembly constituency in Secunderabad left TDP and to join TRS in December 2015. When he was in the good books of TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu, Sayanna was appointed the member of prestigious TTD Trust Board. Following his absence continuously for three successive meetings without informing the board, government had to announce that he ceased to be the member of the board.
According to TTD, G Sayanna, MLA, who has been appointed as Member of the TTD Board 27.04.2015 has not attended the TTD Board meetings consecutively held on 07.12.2015, 30.01.2016 and 18.03.2016.
Moreover, Sayanna has not given any intimation about his absence to the Chairman, TTD., even till date. Hence, the Executive Officer, TTD has requested to take necessary action in the matter, as per the section 102 of the Act, 30/1987, the TTD said.
Today the government of Andhra Pradesh, in view of the Section 102 of the Andhra Pradesh Charitable & Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987, notified that G Sayanna, Member, TTD Board, will cease to hold office as Member of the Board of Trustees of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupati, with immediate effect since he absented himself for three consecutive board meetings, without obtaining prior permission of the Chairman, Board of Trustees of TTD.
