Capital of Telangana, Hyderabad, is regarded as the tech hub of India and technical work of a number of Fortune 500 firms is done in Hyderabad. However, Telanagana government couldn’t find a partner to develop websites in it’s home state. Govt. of Telangana’s Commercial courts tracking system is developed by Frux Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd, a software development firm headquartered in Vishakhapatnam. As per publicly available records, this firm is owned by Bala Kishore Bokka and the firm specializes in public sector websites.
The perception that jobs that should have come to locals have been taken away by ‘outsiders’ has been one of the main grouses of people who were fighting for a separate Telangana state. One wonders why TG government has doled the contract to Frux Software Solutions is puzzling.
There are allegations from a long time that the Telangana government has been handing over the works to contractors from Andhra Pradesh even in irrigation department. Opposition has alleged that KCR has allocated contracts worth Rs 75,000 crores to AP contractors out of total Rs 80,000 crore contract works related to Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya.
