Telangana state is abuzz with the rumour of TS EAMCET-2 paper leakage. Telangana Eamcet – 2 exam conducted by JNTU Hyderabad on July 9th, 2016. The medical aspirants took the EAMCET-2 exam across Telangana. The results of which were announced on July14th, 2016.
From the day of results were declared , many rumours started brewing on possible paper leakage. Some are showing the evidences citing some students who got ranks within 100 in TS EAMCET – II, got ranked in 1000s in EAMCET exam conducted by AP government. Some students who got less than 100 rank in TS EAMCET had no impressive intermediate marks also. Eight students got EAMCET rank less than 100 from one of the villages in Warangal district raised eyebrows.
Telangana police summoned parents of selected students and started questioning. Telangana minister Lakshma Reddy said that a committee will be formed to investigate this matter. He rejected the possible paper leakage and said 10 sets of papers prepared for the exam and one set selected on the exam date only.
“The educational background of those suspicious students will be verified. If anyone found guilty, we will take serious actions” Lakshma Reddy added. Telugu news media is predicting that some Rs.30-40 lakhs might have been paid by the culprits to secure good ranks.
