The social media is full of biased surveys being sent by sympathisers of respective parties. The national channels are not able to present a clear picture as they are ignoring the presence of Jana Sena party. In the findings of Telugu 360, it’s revealed that the Pawan Kalyan factor will hurt the TDP to some extent in three segments in Srikakulam district. They are Etcherla, Tekkeli and Pathapatnam.
The TDP is clearly in a winning position in Rajam SC reserved assembly segment because of combined efforts of the party groups. The YCP has an edge as of now in the Narasannapet and Srikakulam segments. There’s a close fight between the TDP and the YCP in Amudalavalasa, Ichchapuram and Palakonda.
As a whole, the TDP may win 6 seats out of the total 10 in Srikakulam district. It won 7 segments straightaway in 2014 polls when Pawan supported the TDP-BJP alliance. The Jana Senani is showing just some impact on the voters but that is not enough to win even one seat. There’s no sign of a triangular fight all over the district.
The YCP may win 4 out of 10 segments in the district. It won 3 seats in 2014 but two of those 3 MLAs joined the TDP later.
