With its lure of glamour, money and publicity, the film industry is a magnet that has attracted thousands of people over the years. That is why those who make serious money in any business do try to take a shot at film production at least once.

This year, ten new production houses are set to enter Tollywood, according to our sources. Three of them happen to be from the transport business. They are the Kesineni group, the Kaveri Travels group and another unidentified member of the travel industry.

Then there are the distributors. Nellore Hari and KAD Entertainments are some of the distributors who are entering film production this year.

Many other unknown members belonging to the real estate field and political field are coming in. Let us hope that they find success as the Industry needs strong producers to thrive.
