As expected, the Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 12:00 noon today. The only breather is, it ran for just a touch above 2 minutes, thanks to the ‘silence’ observed owing to the death anniversary of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev Singh. Post observing the silence, the well has once again been surrounded by the TRS MPs and AIDMK MPs.
The efforts from YSRPC and TDP parties to come to terms with the TRS and AIDMK parties failed even today. The no-confidence motion notices found their place aptly on the speaker’s table. Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan did not even waste a minute to adjourn Lok Sabha until 12:00 noon.
Sources close to the TRS party informed that their MPs protests for ‘One Nation One Law regarding Reservation’ would continue the same way.
There is every need for the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi to call for an ‘All-party Meeting’, and ensure that the business of the house is carried on.Many believe that the Parliament sessions will conclude even without moving the no-confidence motion.
