SSC results of Telangana were announced couple of days back. Total of 5,38,867 students took the exam and 83.78% of students passed the exam. However, the results were initially scheduled to be announced at 10 am on the day but the results delayed by TS government by 9 hours and results were finally announced at 7 pm. But the reason for this was understood by people and analysts later and most of them were miffed with that reason.

KCR govt defered SSC results by 9 hours, from 10 am to 7 pm, causing stress to 5.83 lakh students and their kin. Reason for delay is – Results could take media focus away from the TRS Plenary held on the same day. Some analysts revealed this and commented the decision caused lot of stress to students and their families.

However, supporters of TRS government put alternate viewpoint that SSC students can wait for 9 more hours as these students are not missing admission to Harvard University by this 9 hours delay. They said, real reason for this is ministers, including education minister Kadiyam Sri Hari, also weree part of the plenary meet and so they could not release the results at 10 am.

However, though it is correct that students can wait for 9 more hours, TS government should have factored it while announcing the schedule. Because they already know the schedule of plenary also. Moreover, these kind of events should not be mixed with politics.
