Blockbuster director Koratala Siva’s last film released nearly a year ago. It has already been announced that the Srimanthudu director will team up with Megastar Chiranjeevi for his next project. It was speculated that the film will be formally launched on Sankranthi. Later, it was heard that the makers are planning to commence it in Summer. However, it looks like Koratala might need to wait further as the Chiranjeevi is still busy with his upcoming magnum opus period drama Syeraa in Surender Reddy’s direction.
Close sources revealed that Koratala Siva’s project might get further delayed as Syeraa shoot is getting extended due to delayed schedules. Chiru wanted to complete Syeraa by early this year and commence Koratala Siva’s flick. But, due to several reasons, Syeraa was delayed which has pushed the launch of his next project to an indefinite period. Koratala has wrapped up the script work and has been waiting for Chiru to commence the shoot.
Sources revealed that Koratala is currently busy with casting process and scouting locations for the film’s first schedule. Reportedly, he is in talks with Shruthi Hassan for the leading lady’s role. He might need to wait a couple of months until Chiru wraps up Syeraa.
