Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a counter attack on the rival opposition parties on the Pukwama bomb attack and Balakot air strikes. He accused the Mahakutami and other rival leaders of issuing statements that are favouring the view point of Pakistan. The rivals are doing this regardless of the fact that they are in a way helping the enemy. Modi said that the issue is so serious that this has come up in the Pakistani Parliament for a discussion.
Modi’s remarks are indirectly directed at the statements of Congress star campaigner Vijaya Shanti and Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan. The rival leaders have spoken about how the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders have been indicating about the possible war with Pakistan for a long time now. Pawan said that the BJP leaders told him two years ago that there would be a war and it created a political sensation.
PM Modi addressed the Praja Chaitanya public meeting in Visakhapatnam. He said that his rivals were bent upon hurting India’s prestige in the international community. PM accused his rivals of working with only one goal that is to unseat Modi and they have no commitment to protecting the integrity and harmony of the country.
