This Friday we will see a flurry of new releases, and all of them are small-budgeted movies. Staring with Kartikeya’s mass movie ‘90ML’, a film about an authorized drinker, this weekend will witness four movies competing with each other at ticket windows. While three movies are fighting at the domestic box-office, another one is releasing directly in the USA.
‘90ML’ is hitting the screens a day late due to censor problems. This film doesn’t carry any expectations as the trailer has failed to generate any buzz and the director is a newcomer. Kartikeya has also delivered a series of flops. This must give him a boost to his struggling career.
The other notable new movie is ‘MisMatch’, a film starring newcomer Uday Shankar and Tamil actress Aishwarya Rajesh. It made some noise in its promotions thanks to the remix version of Pawan Kalyan’s Toli Prema song. This film also lacks any expectations as neither the lead pair nor the makers are not popular names.
Comedian Srinivas Reddy is testing his luck this weekend with his first directorial ‘Bhagyanagara Veedhullo Gammathu’. Besides directing the movie, he also played a lead role. This is a comedy film that is hitting the screens with low buzz and nil publicity.
‘Madhanam’ is a film that is releasing only in the USA. It is a love story.
