Telugu Desam party today said the day when YSRC president Jaganmohan Reddy goes to jail for second stint was not far off and the party should gear up to the life without Jagan. The party said three jails, one in national capital and two in Hyderabad, are waiting for him.
Taking strong objection to the YSRC’s comments that Chandrababu Naidu’s name would come out in the next round of ‘Panama Papers’, party spokesperson and Andhra state warehousing corporation chairman Varla Ramaiah said YSRC party’s spokesperson Vasireddy Padma was talking out of frustration. “Before wanting to see chief minister Chandrababu Naidu’s name in the Panama papers, she should recall the past of her leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy, who spent 16 months in Jail,” Ramaiah suggested and added that Jagan’s second stint in jail was on the horizon.
” It is universally known that Jaganmohan Reddy amassed wealth by abusing his father YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s position as chief minister. He is facing serious charges of amassing illegal wealth to the tune of Rs 43,000 crore. ED has filed three charge shets. Imagine where Jagan would be after the completion of investigation by Enforcement Directorate- Tihar jail of New Delhi or Cherlapalli or Chenchalguda of Hyderabad?,” Ramaiah said.
As woman leader of a party, Ramaiah said, Padma should learn to speak politics not stoop down to the level of a paid worker of the party.
He saw a pattern in the criticism launched by women members of YSRC against chief minister Naidu, who was striving to construct a world-class capital to uphold the pride of people of Andhra Pradesh.
Recently the Opposition YSRC MLAs RK Roja and Giddi Eswari launched an attack on Chief Minister Chandrabu Naidu. Now, Vasireddy Padama today made a irrational comment against Naidu.
“This is unbecoming for women leaders of YSRC to attack Naidu ignoring the fact that how Naidu was struggling to overcome the huge revenue deficit of Rs 16, ooo crore. The CM would succeed in his efforts in building the capital with the help foreign companies. And the dream of Padma to see Naidu’s name in Panama Papers will never become reality,” Ramaiah said.
