Andhra Pradesh government has fixed the timing for the laying of foundation stone for construction of Amaravati Capital city. The foundation stone will be laid on October 22, 12.45 afternoon. This has been announced by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu in today’s marathon cabinet meeting.
After the meeting, municipal and urban development minister P Narayana said the exact location would be nearer to the place where ground breaking ceremony took place at Mandadam village. ” About 50 acres has been earmarked for the purpose from the edge of River Krishnan” the minister told media.
The auspicious moment falls at 12.45 pm on October 22,2015, he said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending as the chief guest of the spectacular function being organized at the cost of Rs 9.5 core. Even though invitations have been extended by the state to the PMs of Japan and Singapore, it is not exactly know if the foreign dignitaries would turn up.
