The market of Telugu cinema crossed boundaries and the filmmakers are earning big if the film works at the box-office. With a huge demand for theatrical and non-theatrical rights, several successful directors are hiking their fee for every film. SS Rajamouli who scored record hits will take a handsome remuneration for every film and he would share the profits from his films. Same is the case with Trivikram and Sukumar. Their remuneration depends on the actor they are working with. Sukumar shares profits with Mythri Movie Makers and Trivikram has a major stake in Haarika and Hassine Creations.
Young directors like Anil Ravipudi, Gopichand Malineni, Bobby, Vamshi Paidipally and others are quoting Rs 20 crores remunerations for their upcoming projects. This is huge but the producers are accepting it because of the demand. Harish Shankar will draw Rs 15 crores for Ustaad Bhagat Singh and he is quoting big for the remake of Raid with Ravi Teja. Parasuram will share the profits from Family Star that is in shoot mode. Uppena fame Buchi Babu will get a double digit remuneration for his second project. Dasara director Srikanth Odela is demanding big paycheque. Koratala Siva will earn big through Devara which is in shoot mode. Maruthi will pocket more than Rs 10 crores for Prabhas’ film. The remunerations of successful directors in Tollywood reached skies.
