The theatrical and non-theatrical calculations have been altered in the past few weeks. The digial giants used to shell out huge money for the films featuring stars. But Amazon, Netflix and Disney Plus Hotstar are quoting low prices for the digital deals citing budget constraints. The digital, Hindi and the satellite deals of tier two heroes of Telugu heroes came down by half and this is turning out to be a huge stress for the films that are under shoot. Considering these deals, our heroes have been quoting huge remunerations. The producers are not able to say no and are agreeing for fat paycheques.

Even the theatrical market of our heroes has no consistency. Those are completely depending upon the buzz surrounding the film. The distributors are not ready to shell out big like in the past. The producers are puzzled about the theatrical deals and the recovery. Some of the producers are revising the budgets after the non-theatrical deals are slashed. The profit and loss statement completely depends on the film’s result and most of the filmmakers are not making table profits bere release like it happened in the past. Things have changed drastically in Telugu cinema because of the unexpected vaccum.
