Telugu360 exclusively reported a few weeks ago that Prabhas’ much awaited action saga Saaho will arrive in theatres on August 15th. The makers have also confirmed the same through an official statement today. While no other Telugu big ticket film is slated for release during the same week, Saaho may face a tough competition from a couple of Bollywood biggies.
Reportedly, Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal and John Abraham’s Batla House are also eyeing the Independence Day weekend for grand release. The makers of both these films are planning to release take advantage of the long weekend. Trade circles are expecting that at least one out of these two Bollywood biggies might challenge Saaho at box office.
Prabhas garnered pan India popularity and market after Baahubali. So, the makers of Saaho are planning a wide release all over North to tap in Prabhas’ huge market among audience. It will definitely be an interesting tussle at box office when a Telugu film and Hindi film take on each other.
