Though Congress and BJP are yet to announce its candidates, Dr. Bhupathi Reddy and BJP leader Mr. Anand Reddy have begun campaign.
Dr. Bhupathi Reddy started campaign from Malkapur with his sentiment and he has blessings of Senior Leader D.Srinivas who recently left TRS and about to join congress. Mr. Reddy has own strength as he took active part during Telangana Movement and the Congress party has traditional vote bank in rural areas of the segment.
Mr. Anand Reddy from BJP who lost the previous election and stood in 3rd place with 25% of votes is confidence this time as he believes that the voters are seeking an alternative to the ruling party TRS and the opposition party Congress. Though he lost his last election, he has been continuing keeping in touch with the voters and frequently raising his voice against the failures and getting success in passing the welfare schemes by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sources says that all the three leaders have vote bank in the majority of voters from the said communities and experts are saying that there must be a tough fight between the three leaders and expecting the majority for the winning candidate may be in between 1,000 and 3,000.
