Actress Trisha Krishnan’s next outing is Tamil-Telugu thriller “1818”, based on the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, says a source. The project was originally launched with actress Abhinaya in 2015 and was even titled “Thudi”.
“The film was launched with Abhinaya, but due to lack of funds it had to be pushed into cold storage. Nearly a year and a half later, the project has been revived with Trisha, and the team is all set to commence shooting from later this month,” a source close to the film’s unit told IANS.
Trisha will reportedly play a receptionist in a five-star hotel.
“The film’s story takes places between 6 p.m and 6 a.m in a hotel. It will mostly revolve around five important characters. Trisha’s role and performance will be talked about,” he said.
Popular Telugu actors Brahmanandam and Rajendra Prasad will be essaying pivotal roles.
The film, which will have music by S.S. Thaman, will be helmed by debutant Rithun Sagar.
