TRS corporator Anishetty Murali was brutally murdered in Hanamkonda in Warangal Urban district. The deceased was corporator of 44division in the Greater Warangal. He recently joined the ruling party TRS from the TDP. The murderers beheaded him inside his home on Thursday.
As per the initial reports, Murali did not step out of his home today as it was raining heavily. The assailants took the chance, entered his home and killed him using sickles and knives.
The three accused then surrendered at the local police station. The police claimed that it is a faction killing as a revenge to an old murder and possibly a political conflict.
In a 25-year-old case of Janardhan’s murder, the victims kin assumed that Murali was convict and so chopped his head off. They surrendered at the Hanmakonda police station after the attack.
