Hyderabad: Since TRS has decided to field two new faces in Khammam and Peddapalli Lok Sabha constituencies, the local party cadres are discomfort lot as they still supporting sitting MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy in Khammam and former MP Gaddam Vivek in Peddeaplli constituency.
TRS has given B form to Nama Nageshwara Rao, a former TDP MP, within 24 hours of his joining the pink party, for Khammam MP seat, while is fielding Venkatesh Nethakani, who contested in Chennur Assembly constituency on Congress ticket in December 2018, in Peddapalli Lok Sabha constituency.
Expressing protest against TRS supremo K Chandrashekhar Rao’s decision, G Vivek has left the pink party. On the other hand, Srinivas Reddy said that TRS will soon realise the reality. After these developments, Peddapalli and Khammam Lok Sabha constituencies have become a point of discussion whether TRS will bag them with considerable majority. The sitting Khammam MP Srinivas Reddy is still in TRS, but raising voice against the party’s decision. Political analysts feel that it will impact Khammam seat more. TRS will have to sweat it out to win Peddapalli constituency as well as Dalit communities have extended their solidarity to Vivek already.
Vivek is son of former union minister and Dalit leader G Venkataswamy and has a considerable chunk of supporters in the constituency. All the supporters of Vivek and Dalit communities are standing by the former MP.
