Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao said that Telangana Rashtra Samithi will secure 100 to 105 seats in the 2019 assembly elections. Speaking to the TRS public representatives he said that TRS has the confidence of people. Taking a jibe at Congress, KCR said that people have no faith in the opposition parties of the state. He advised the TRS leaders to be available for people.
It may be recalled that previously, KCR hoped that TRS would emerge as a strong contender to the All-India Majlis- e- Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) in Hyderabad. The ruling party which won only 60 out of 119 seats in 2014 elections, is targeting to emerge as undisputed political party in the upcoming elections.
