Telangana government which is planning to make Hyderabad an aviation technologies hub today coordinated a tripartite agreement with United Technologies Corporation India Private Limited and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU),Asia. On behalf of the state, Telangana Academy of Skill and Knowledge(TASK) signed the agreement which took place in the presence of state IT and Municipal minister K T Ramarao today.
The MoU is meant for collaborating in development of aviation professional skills , training and research at Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion Sujiv Nair, chief executive officer, Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge shared that one of the key focus areas of the MoU is to leverage the industry expertise from Pratt & Whitney India Training Centre located at the Hyderabad International Airport and the academic expertise from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in up-skilling the faculty and youth.
An action plan would be evolved between the three parties based on a skill gap analysis with specific focus on introducing new short term industry relevant courses, faculty development programs and finishing school based current industry needs.
