Hyderabad: Arrangements for smooth conduct of the biennial elections for 12 seats in Telangana Legislative Counciare put in places, said the State Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwar Lal.

Elections for the 12 seats in Telangana Legislative Council from Local Authorities’ Constituencies are scheduled to be held on December 27.

Reviewing the poll arrangements through a video conference with the district officials where the elections are going to he held,the CEO has directed the officials to form mobile teams to keep a tab on political parties trying to resort to entice and lure the voters. He said that web casting and videography would also be arranged in every polling booth, to ensure transparency and to prevent any electoral malpractices. A training session will be held for officials concerned on December 14 and 21 in Hyderabad, he said.
