As Rajinikanth’s much awaited film, Kabali, is almost confirmed for a grand release on July 22nd, a couple of films which are supposed to release in the last week of July are likely to be postponed to a further date. One among them is Victory Venkatesh’s Babu Bangaram. The comedy caper, a Maruthi directional, was scheduled for July 29th release as Kabali was earlier announced to release on July 15th. Now, with Kabali shifted to the next week, the makers of Babu Bangaram are likely to postpone the movie. A new date will be announced very soon.
Also, Naga Chaitanya’s Premam, one of the craziest films this season, was previously announced to hit the screens on August 12th. But, close sources to the unit revealed that the film’s release is likely to be pushed to September as Janatha Garage is going to release on the same day. It is learnt that the makers are not willing to take chance as Janatha Garage is carrying huge buzz and it is also going to occupy majority of the screens. So, they are looking for a September release.
Both Kabali and Janatha Garage are creating a huge buzz among the trade circles and the films are going to have a record opening all over. So, some of the medium and low budget flicks are going to alter their release dates to avoid clash with these two biggies.
