In just five months, CM Jaganmohan Reddy’s personal influence in Delhi has turned upside down. While he is not able to get direct appointments of PM Modi and Amit Shah, his party MPs are freely meeting the top leaders now and then on their respective works. Two YCP MPs especially moved very closer to the PM thanks to help from a top BJP leader from Andhra. One of them even got Chairman post on a Parliamentary Standing Committee. All this is happening without the involvement of YCP’s No 2 leader Vijayasai Reddy who is also AP Government Special Representative in Delhi.
How can intolerant Jagan Reddy allow this kind of personal freedom taken by the MPs? Moreover, this is happening at a time when Jagan himself is falling out of the favour of BJP. Now, YCP boss has imposed unofficial ban on his party MPs to meet Modi and Shah. Jagan Reddy has ordered the MPs to take prior permission of Vijayasai Reddy before meeting the BJP top leaders in Delhi.
The latest Jagan ban has come as a big embarrassment to the MPs some of whom are big time industrialists having top contacts across all political parties. Political circles say that this is not surprising because of the increasing insecurity of Jagan Reddy in the face of impending personal crisis because of Rs. 43,000 cr CBI illegal assets cases.
