The producers of Janatha Garage – Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Yalamanchili and Mohan (CVM), are NRI’s who have significant business investments in the United States. As a result, they wanted to organise the audio launch of Janatha Garage in the United States on a grand scale. This would have given the film a lot of buzz in the USA.
But it looks like the plans may be on hold for now. Going to the United States for the audio launch would mean atleast one week of absence from Hyderabad and with less than 2 months remaining for the movie’s release, this can put pressure on the post-production activities of the movie.
That is the reason behind this reconsideration. As of the time of writing this article, the producers have not issued any formal communication in this matter. Reliable sources say that all options are being explored and a formal decision could be out sometime next week.
The movie has NTR, Mohan Lal, Samantha and Nithya Menen in the lead roles while Koratala Shiva is the director. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director and Thiru is the cameraman.
