Victory Venkatesh – Varun Tej starrer F2 – Fun and Frustration is continuing its dream run at the US box office. By the end of the third Saturday, the comedy caper has breached into the elite $ 2 million club.
F2 embarked on a strong box office run despite stiff competition from other Telugu biggies. With positive reviews and strong word of mouth, the film had a terrific run in the first weekend. Continuing its steady run on weekdays and second weekend, the film surpassed the $ 1.5 M mark quite effortlessly. Now, with a good third week gross despite new releases, F2 has joined the prestigious club of $ 2 million by the end of this Saturday. The film is termed a double blockbuster by trade circles.
F2 is the 14th film of Tollywood to collect more than $ 2 M in overseas. This is Varun Tej’s second film after Fidaa to touch the mark and the first one for both Anil Ravipudi and Victory Venkatesh. Dil Raju is the film’s producer.
