UV Creations owned by Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati, produced movies like Mirchi, Run Raja Run, Bale Bale Magadivoy and recently Mahanubhavudu. Now the latest buzz is UV creations is all set to give tough competition to Dil Raju in Nizam area. Details are as below.
Dil Raju is enjoying complete monopoly in Nizam. Currently, no movie can release in Nizam without his consent. For lot of big movies, dates are confirmed byDil Raju. Even if someone else buys a movie, they still have to release though Dil Raju. Asian is only other competitor, but they are very selective in buying movies. UV is particularly dissatisfied by theaters giving to their recent movie Mahavubhavudu in Nizam. UV is already strong in Andhra and Ceded and they are seriously contemplating entering to Nizam. However, the only challenge is most of theaters are already under lease with either Raju or Asian. so they have to focus on new theaters or theaters coming out of lease.
Industry is also cheering for a new entrant in Nizam as it reduces monopoly and they will have more options, going forward..
