Mega Prince Varun Tej is awaiting to bounce back in Telugu cinema. Despite interesting attempts, the actor failed to taste success from the past few years. He is focused on Matka, a periodic mass entertainer that will release this year. Karuna Kumar is the director and Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the leading lady. Varun Tej has lined up two new films and one among them will be directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. Kanaka Raju is the title considered for the film and it is said to be a crime comedy. Gandhi is known to direct comedy centric films with the touch of a crime. A major portion of the film will be shot in Korea and the visa process has been completed recently.
The regular shoot of the film will start in November and Krish’s First Frame Entertainments along with UV Creations will produce this expensive attempt. Thaman is on board to score the music and background score for Kanaka Raju. Varun Tej also gave his nod for one more film that will be directed by Touch Chesi Chudu fame Vikram Sirikonda. The shoot of the film starts next year and Mythri Movie Makers are the producers. A major portion of the shoot will take place in the USA.
