It has been years since Varun Tej tasted success. The actor has high hopes on Matka which is due for release on November 14th. Karuna Kumar is the director and Matka is a periodic film set in Vizag. The makers spent lavishly on the film and massive sets were constructed for the film’s shoot. Meenakshi Chaudhary is the leading lady and Nora Fatehi plays an important role. The makers are yet to close the most of the deals though the release date is announced. It would be tough for the makers to recover their investment before the release.

Matka is also impacted by the results of his previous films. Matka will also clash with Suriya’s Kanguva which is the biggest ever film of Suriya. Kanguva is carrying huge expectations. For now, Matka is a risky project for the makers. There are discussions going on about the postponement of the film. Vyra Entertainment and SRT Entertainment are the producers.
